released in conjunction with the Segerhuva showcase at Fylkingen in Stockholm, april 2004. Treriksröset splurts out 4 minutes of frequencies totally out of balance for those in love with older times. undoubtedly one of Sweden's most uncompromising artists today. Ochu sits back and lets the loops do the talking. Lo-fi production and slowly moving, pounding, shredding tones is the order for the day. (Segerhuva)

Yui Ondodera is a composer and multi-instrumentalist from Tokyo, who runs his own label 'Critical Path' to find "new ways to listen to sound" and who is also active in organizing concerts, composing soundtracks for experimental films and in designing sounds for contemporary dance & Butoh. On "Synergetics", he presents two tracks of very minimal and quiet oceanic drones, based on guitar and piano. The music shimmers like light-reflections on water in extreme slow motion, when single recognizable tunes appear. Music for full concentration and contemplation, almost feathery and warm. Elochim
CD
Second full length release by this Belgian trio. For this CD, Ontayso created a special release of manipulated electro-acoustic music in a dark and sensitive way, inspired by the artwork of strip artist Moebius. ('Elochim' is a planet in one of his famous strips). Again the music intends to take your mind to unknown and exciting places. It will slowly capture your thoughts and lead you in some natural trance as if you've been walking in outer space. Nothing sounds like it should, high tech manipulations take an important place while emotion is never left behind, maintaining the central elements of the Ontayso sound.

OPION SOMNIUM is a one man project from Santa Fe, New Mexico, that is fascinated with birds being divine creatures and focusing on themes of eternity and death. The breathtaking drones of OPION SOMNIUM spread a sad, melancholic atmosphere, which is at the same time full of beauty. The compositions are based on instruments played in real time, i.e. viola, accordion and piano, but also on floating electronics. Both tracks on this EP sound ethereal, spacey, and intensively emotional. ltd. 300 (drone)

Volume Two
CD
Meticulously remastered for truly maximum fidelity, includes material primarily culled from the 'In Extremis' and 'Horii' sessions (1985/86). Track 1 includes the complete B-side of 'In Extremis' which features Jackman's collaborative work with The New Blockaders. This 20 minute piece is a massive eruption of relentless, burrowing atmospheres that are often disturbing as they are engaging. Track 2 is an alternate version (differing from the 12" release) which features Jackman's collaboration with Andrew Chalk. At over 12 minutes, this piece offers a very bizarre melange of sputtering bowed percussion, homemade woodwinds and voice. Track 3 is a previously unreleased work from 1989 that capsules many of the (purely acoustic) compositional elements associated with the early L.A.Y.L.A.H. sessions. (Robot)

An exercise on aural pathworking. deep waving droning noises are set against vortexing echoes & swirling digital effects, derived from what could be instrumental sources or object recordings, moving the willing listener into a surrealistic subconscious dimension. This music spreads like an unconscious aural travelogue in different spatial directions (horizontal & vertical). What makes OVRO so special is her capability to create very "cinematographic" and "narrative" drone-atmospheres or landscapes, with great care for even tiniest details. (Drone Records)

Ovro & Niko Skorpio Live in Placard #7
CD
The disc begins with OVRO's set, eight tracks of deep subdued electronic drones and crunchy 8-bit fractalizations with OVRO's narrative female voice reciting abstract fairy tale vocalizations that are often subtly warped by electronic processing, with feedback winds, wolf howls, and sonar blips echoing in the background. Skorpio then finishes out the disc with seven tracks of eclectic laptop constructs that range from micro-glitch rhythms and clicks and pops, to dissected vocal debris and highly detailed feedback drones, and brutal robo-beats drive looped middle eastern ethnic music samples side by side with squashed Death Metal roar.
