Each Nerve Net Noise album is an astoundingly thorough exploration of one aspect of what their rough and barely controllable homemade synthesizers can do. "Meteor Circuit" explores rhythms and beats, but it's no minimal glitch album, and neither is NNN a "noise" band. 7"Nightmares is a new synth trio formed by Jonathan Canady, David Reed, and Mark Solotroff. Canady is known for his dark analog synth fueled solo project, Angel of Decay, while power-electronics fans know him for his truly brutal band, Deathpile. Reed has a musical personality that is finely split into two distinct-yet-related solo projects: the analog synth-driven Envenomist and its dark electronic alter-ego, Luasa Raelon. Solotroff has recorded lo-fi analog synth music under the name Super Eight Loop, which dates back to 1993. He is also known for his bands BLOODYMINDED, The Fortieth Day, A Vague Disquiet, Intrinsic Action, Animal Law, and the newly formed Anatomy of Habit. The result of six years of live and studio collaboration, LM2X is by far the most ambitious and uncompromising statement yet by this formidable trio. The album begins as a more-or-less straight documentary-style recording of group improvisation, but don’t get too comfortable… over the course of the next two hours, the ground steadily shifts, the bottom drops out, and any expectations a listener may have had going in are thoroughly trampled. Join the group as they visit art galleries, rock clubs, living rooms, at least one church, and the kitchen of a famous chef, before finally putting a fist through an amplifier. Fans will find the usual ingredients here: crusty old reel-to-reel tape decks, cheap keyboards, amplified and acoustic horns…but rude tape splices, violent humor, and confusingly degraded fidelity push the music far from safe territory. The visceral drama of LM2X does not neatly spell out its intentions, nor does it signal exactly what it has up its sleeve. This is a split CD between KK Null from Japan, and Moz, from the US. Each artist gets 30 minutes to play with. The NULL material on this CD is a change from a lot of his earlier work. Using guitar and other sounds which are then processed through a large assortment of homemade effect units, looped, and overlaid into a strange form of electronic music. The tracks from MOZ on this CD are some of his more atmospheric work, processed electronics, voices, dark chanting and other sounds.

THUS SPAKE NURSE (& Xhol): The recipe began with our fearless leader, Steve Stapleton, cooking up some recordings & mixing in a few tablespoons of Xhol Caravan. Beta-lactam Ring now serves up this piping hot dish to you, the hungriest of hungry, hungry hippos. In addition, Chef Steve painted 100 individually hand painted discs to celebrate the release of the three album set “Angry Eelectric Finger”. The paint and vinyl was salvaged from the local landfill site at Inagh, County Clare, Ireland and recycled here in Cooloorta during September and November 2004. The paintings were displayed in Galway, Ireland and Portland, Oregon before being offered for sale. All the paintings are now presented here in a deluxe 220 page hardbound book with full color images and a spot gloss coating.The book also contains the album "Zero Mix" packaged in a book bound cd case.
