Feverdreams does experimental ambient soundscapes, using a wide variety of different sound sources, all nicely mixed together to create a very surreal listen. LHD's track on the other hand is a very thick and crunchy piece of destroyed music, that is almost musical, but distorted to the point of being a wall of destroyed noise.

Its pieces are always scattered, and Filivs Macrocosmi relies on his listener to bring the final element of the puzzle along with him. One of Stalker's many treats is that it invites you to get carried away into your own thoughts, flowing with the images as it provides new questions to ponder... In that sense, the album is very much like a philosophical poem: a very simple surface covering innumerable layers of meaning. One extremely long ride in a cart, with clunking metal and water-whooshing sounds, is fascinating and hypnotic. FM downplayed the science fiction aspects of the movie, making the album more about philosophical and spiritual concerns leaving us at the threshold of the Room where all our most cherished desires come true. New Zealand sound artist Richard Francis is the man behind ESO STEEL. Three Tracks contains three compositions recorded in late 2001 in Japan (where Richard formally resided) and mixed in mid 2002 in New Zealand. Source material stems from both organic and mechanical/synthetic ambient field recordings abstracted and carefully arranged into subtle sound compositions. Richard works with the smaller details of a recorded sound event or object, meaning the subtlety of this work is better appreciated with headphones, however the compositions also blend beautifully with the surrounding environment as they gently drift out of stereo speakers.
